Back to news overviewHet PR Bureau has strengthened its Strategy & Creative team with Wilmar Alex Tax and Rens Quirijnen. Wilmar manages the Amsterdam based pr agency’s strategy department as Head of Strategy & Insights. Rens is responsible for the agency’s creative ideas and campaigns. By taking on these two Het PR Bureau solidly invests in a combination of data-driven PR strategies and creativity.
Wilmar (43) has experience on both client-side - i.e. for Grolsch/SABMiller and Groupe Bel (Leerdammer, The Laughing Cow) - and agency-side as a brand strategist. He worked at integrated media agency MEC and CARAT/Dentsu and digital creative agency IN10 before founding his own agency Nofilter in 2017 focusing on brand positioning and storytelling. Wilmar: "If your brand is pure and real, it’s a lot easier to gain earned attention. That unfiltered brand vision is what attracted me to Het PR Bureau. We earn positive attention for our clients through honest, pure stories, thus maximising the impact on their business."
Stories that spread themselves
Rens Quirijnen (31) has had a successful career at agencies such as BBDO Amsterdam, Etcetera (now DDB unlimited) and Grey and won an ADCN Dutch Creativity Award with his striking campaign ‘A Comedian’s Worst Nightmare’ for the FSHD Foundation. Back then his focus was already on work that spreads itself. Rens: “A creative idea that goes out into the world without depending on paid media is what the world demands in today’s earned first era.”
Jacqueline Bosselaar, CEO and founder of Het PR Bureau: "Earning attention is our core philosophy, not only as a PR tactic; our focus is “earned first” which we translate into owned, social and paid channels. Furthermore we believe clear insights are crucial. The combination of our earned first approach and super sharp data driven insights is the foundation of our strategic and creative plans. That’s how we lift ourselves and our clients to the next level. With Wilmar and Rens we have brought in the right people to build on this vision for the future.”
