Wavin selects Het PR Bureau
Back to news overviewWavin has chosen Het PR Bureau as their PR and communications partner. Wavin strives towards thought leadership in the field of future proof cities and among key themes such as extreme weather conditions, water management, sewerage, smart building and urban greenification. Wavin operates globally and is mostly known as market leader in plastic pipe systems for water distribution, waste water drainage and rainwater management. Together, Wavin and Het PR Bureau will work on generating more visibility by creating stories with impact.
Working together for a better tomorrow
Cities are attractive, but very vulnerable. UNICEF recently calculated that 70 percent of the world’s population will be living in a big city by 2030. And as the cities are growing, so do the challenges. Wavin seeks to play an important role in keeping urban areas liveable.
Emiel van den Boomen, Marketing Communication Manager at Wavin: “We are excited to launch campaigns with Het PR Bureau and show the world Wavin’s efforts to keep cities all around the world liveable. Wavin wants to inspire with technical possibilities. We offer products, but that’s not the main story we want to tell. So don’t expect technical content full of jargon, but stories about people living and working together. People that want to know what they can do now to make the world of tomorrow a better place.”
Wavin, an innovative pioneer
Camiel Overgaauw, Partner and Wavin’s account manager at Het PR Bureau: “Wavin is an amazing company with Dutch roots and a big track record in innovation. They are true pioneers: in the 50s they were the first in the world to introduce plastic pipes for drinking water, a true revolution as these pipes were better, lighter and more sustainable than prior products. Now they are a global player and offer a broad product portfolio with advanced solutions for water management, sewer, sanitation and smart building to improve indoor climate with i.e. underfloor heating and cooling. They have a lot to offer the world when it comes to building and planning ‘resilient and future proof cities’. Through amongst others storytelling and PR activations we will make that visible.”
